Rainbow Bright

I know a little zebra,
With stripes so black and white,
He’d never seen a colour
Or a rainbow shining bright.
He’d heard about red lobsters,
The orange leopards’ spots;
He’d heard of yellow sunshine,
And geckos with green dots.
He’d never seen the ocean
(though he knew that it was blue);
Where lived the purple jellyfish -
Pink and violet too.
“I need to find the Rainbow Queen –
I think her name is Mia?”
Her house is on a little beach
I hear the sea – I’m near!”
Mia waved her magic wand,
Her monkey gave a wink;
And for the first time ever, Zebra’s world
Was red, green, blue and pink!
