It's been a while since we blogged - we've been so busy planning and launching our new Summer 2017 collection - but we're proud to say it's here now, and we LOVE it!
So, what better opportunity to get back into blogging again (after all, it's where Bobby Rabbit first began) than to introduce you to our brand new Bedtime Stories and all the amazing products that bring them to life.
When we first created our store just over 16 months ago, we wanted to offer a shopping experience that was both fun AND inspiring. Twice a year, we search the globe for exciting new brands and products that we bring to life in fun room sets to spark little imaginations and tell a story of their very own: we create memorable spaces filled with little (and big) treasures to cherish when small, and remember with a smile when tall. And every single product has been hand-picked with this in mind.
At Bobby Rabbit, you can shop by product category AND by room theme, meaning that you can buy into as much or as little of a look as you like, or have fun mixing and matching yourself. If you're setting about decorating your child's room and are stuck for ideas, our Bedtime Stories are a good place to start.
Our Summer 2017 collection is all about a trip to the seaside, mixed with a touch of sparkle and outdoor adventure!
'The Deep Blue Sea' collection, pictured above and below, is an underwater wonderland - just imagine your bed is a boat stranded on the beach, with whales, narwhals, toucans and pineapples all around it! What else can you see?
Highlights include our brand new House Bed from Denmark - which is available in both Junior and Single size, and our beautiful Wooden Swings from Lillagunga in Finland (available in oak or birch with 8 amazing rope colours to choose from). Throw in some handmade Whale Cushions from St Petersburg and our fun wooden toy Camper Van by British brand Jamm Toys, a few Boat Wall Stickers from Spain and our Cloud and Lightning Bolt wall lights from Dutch brand A Little Lovely Company, and you have not only a truly international mix of products, but a fun story and look with a bold blue and yellow colour theme.
For the girls, we designed A Mermaid's Tale, starring our very own knitted Mermaid Cushion (part of Meri Meri's brand new children's interiors collection), together with her flamingo and unicorn friends! Picture a desert island party with ice creams, lemonade and bright pops of summer neon colours with contrasting pretty pastels:
Favourite finds include our fabulous neon Ice Cream and Party Hat posters from Engelpunt - and our new Ice Cream Bedding Set to match from Rose in April - Flora Flamingo from British soft toy creators Jellycat, Nepalese felt Rainbow Rug from Muskhane, fun retro baskets from UK brand Sun Jellies and stunning Storage Baskets and Luggys from Olli Ella. Not forgetting of course our cosy Heart, Moon and Star Cushions from Meri Meri and these handmade Fish Decorations by Marseille-based Scalae:
Summer wouldn't be summer without a bit of outdoor forest exploring, so we created Animal Adventure, using all shades of green and 'natural':
The stars of the show here are our super-soft jersey cotton Super Casper Bedding in cot bed and single size by Tobias and The Bear, Ping the Panda Rug by Sew Heart Felt, Giraffe and Zebra animal heads by Fiona Walker England, handmade linen Jeanne the Donkey Cushions by French brand Petit Picotin, dino soft toys (Terry, Trevor and Patrick) from our friends at Jellycat, and these r-awesome Dinosaur Lights from British brand Disaster Designs (which come with both UK and EU plug options as well as mini battery operated LED versions):
Last but not least, our sparkly play space: A Magic Tent starring 3 pretty little Moulin Roty mice Lala, Mimi and Sissi, a Sparkly Rabbit by French brand Pompon Petillant and her sequin Fable Heart wands and Crown, graceful and elegant Solange Swan by Jellycat; and not forgetting the Teepee Tent itself, handmade in Poland with a beautiful peach (or grey) pom pom on top:
A special mention for our stunning new sea-themed Narwhal, Octopus and Whale Prints that were created exclusively for us by Born Lucky, each one signed by the artist and hand-finished with silver details:
