Did you know, sometimes we build entire rooms around just one single product we find and love?
Take 'A Whale's Tale' for example - one of our latest Bedtime Story rooms (and we have to say, possibly one of our favourites too!) This entire room concept was inspired by two of our amazing new finds (Whale Lamp and Penguin Lamp) from Polish brand Little Lights.

Little Lights is a small family business from Krakow. They specialise in the design and production of magical children's lamps, which we are very proud to stock here at Bobby Rabbit. Each and every lamp is lovingly handmade from pine wood; sanded, painted and polished before being carefully packaged in a beautiful printed kraft gift box and shipped to families across the globe.
Handmade production is crucial to the Little Lights brand - as it makes each product special, loved, and unique. It gives it a story. What started as a sleeping fox has grown into a collection of animals and childhood icons and playful objects that will light up a child's space and make them feel warm and cosy inside.
You can find all of our Little Lights lamps in our Lighting collection.
We had the pleasure of chatting to Little Lights' founder, owner and chief creator Patrycja Dolegowska, recently. Read on to find out more about the story of this wonderful nostalgic brand.
What is the story of Little Lights?
Little Lights was established in 2016 in Krakow. All our lamps from the very beginning were made with a hand saw, which I learned to use all by myself. I had never dealt with any machine like that before, but I did not want to outsource work or share my ideas, so I decided to learn everything by trial-and-error! From the beginning to the end, I came up with the structure of Little Lights, found the right paints, LEDs; I cut, sanded, and painted each lamp myself. I was so into the idea of creating Little Lights that I hardly slept, and if I was asleep at night I dreamed of screws and sanding machines!
What is your favourite Little Lights creation so far?
Our first animal lamp was Fox- so even though I love all our creations, I have special feelings for this one. Our brand brand began with it, so it’s like my 3rd baby!
What do your children’s rooms look like?
My kids room is under construction all the time. We're always changing something, because they have a shared room . Now my girls have a white bunk bed and white furniture as a base for their favourite colourful accessories and toys.

What are your top tips for decorating a child’s space?
I like to keep it simple, but find one theme that will make the room exceptional. I also love mixed vintage and modern.
What do you think the trends are for 2022 in children’s interiors and décor?
I think eco and natural style will go on for this year. A natural material like wood and rattan is a great base, and people really love to be close to nature. Both natural and rainbows are best-sellers at the moment - I think these two will be competing in 2022!
