We couldn't let the holiday season pass us by without finding a lovely new dolls house or two.

So, today we bring you the Colour House and Cube House from French toy brand Djeco, new in this season at the fabulous French Blossom children's store. Each one the perfect reflection of stylish modern living with loads of added play value and child appeal, these two (and their accessories) have to be our favourites yet.

The Colour House is so named because of its bright and colourful interior walls: It measures 40 x 40 x 40cm square, and with its 2 floors and open plan layout there is plenty of room to accessorise it from all sides!

The Cube House, below, is possibly our favourite. With features such as its perspex roof, floor to ceiling windows as well as the open plan layout and accessible sides, it's contemporary, fun and totally unlike most other dolls houses out there on the market! And just wait until you see the furniture... Made from natural materials wherever possible (yep, even the cushions are cotton!), and designed with careful consideration for shape, colour and style, these accessories really are the most authentic and realistic mini-me versions we have seen. Simply stunning and totally adorable, and compared with other dolls houses, reasonably priced as well... For the Colour House is just 69.50€ and the Cube House (slightly bigger in overall size) is 79€. The room sets range from 16-22€ each and the families of four - choose from Thomas and Marion or Milo and Lila! - are 34€.
